Top Ten Casino Games – Part 1

wheel of fortune

Is there something nagging deep inside you trying to get out and pushing you to your nearest casino?

If so it is probably for one of the top 10 games in the casino industry. If your local casino does not offer some of these games, perhaps it is time to find a bigger, better casino. Or request the games and see what happens.

Still you may head out to your local casino to play one game and find your luck not so good on that night or perhaps the blackjack tables are all filled. It is good to know you have options and if you find yourself in a rut in your favorite game, try something new. Perhaps you will like it even better.

Here they are, the tenth through fifth most popular games in casino gambling.

10. BINGO

No it’s not just for the elderly anymore. The favorite game of senior citizens and church gatherings has made it to the big time. More and more casinos offer the time-honored tradition of matching Bingo cards to numbers being drawn in the hopper. The availability of the game elsewhere puts it at the bottom of the top ten list.

9. BACCARAT

The rules of the ninth most popular game may preclude some from trying Baccarat, but a simply tutorial will allow a gamer to be able to play. The game, a little like blackjack involves two cards being dealt and the gamer playing against the house instead of other players. If for instance the gamer draws a 4 and a 7, the total is 11, but 10 is then subtracted giving the player a 1. If they drew a 4 and a 6, the total would be 10, but then 10 is taken away, leaving zero-or baccarat. The higher of the hand wins.

8. WHEEL OF FORTUNE, THE BIG SIX, ETC.

The name of the game may be different in each establishment but it basically involves a large wheel spun by the dealer. The wheel is divided into 52 sections separated by pins. Players place their bets on one of the six symbols on the table which correspond to sections on the wheel.

7. KENO

Much like Bingo and sometimes held in the same areas in the casino, Keno involves randomly selected numbers after a player picks 20 numbers on a card featured numbers 1-80.

6. PAI GOW POKER

Poker is so popular it is represented a couple of times on the list and this version is a more casino friendly and quick version of poker. Like blackjack, pai gow poker features players versus house gaming instead of player-on-player. Seven cards are doled out to each player and a five-card and two-card hands are arranged in the best way the player sees fits. If both hands beat the dealer, the player wins; if both lose, the players loses and it is a push if the player wins one and the dealer wins the other.
