European TV giant to add blackjack

Interactive TV gaming group NetPlay TV has bought another Sky channel on which it plans to broadcast “Live Blackjack”.
Subject to Sky Broadcasting approval, the company has acquired Sky channel 848 from Hollywood TV. The new channel is adjacent to NetPlay’s current Sky channel, 847, and will be used to launch the company’s “Live Blackjack” offering by the end of this month.
“Blackjack is the most popular game in traditional casinos and as such it was a natural progression for us to launch a ‘live’ TV version of this popular game,” said NetPlay’s chairman and chief executive, Martin Higginson.
